- 28 September 2023 – National RDA delegates meeting to begin bargaining preparation
- 20 October 2023 – Claims survey to go to all RDA members
- 30 October 2023 – Claims survey closes
- November 2023 – Claims compiled and endorsed by members
- December 2023 – Claims developed and relevant information collected
- January 2024 – Bargaining team meet for preparation
- 2 February 2024 – Bargaining initiated
- February 2024 – Bargaining commences
